In a pivotal moment during the ninth inning, Astros batter Ramon Urias hit a blooper that fell between three Yankees players in left field. Bellinger attempted to make a play, fielding the ball on a hop and throwing home in an effort to catch Jose Altuve. Unfortunately, the ball slipped from his grip, allowing the Astros to extend their lead to 6-1. Mauricio Dubon then added to the Yankees’ woes with an infield single.
