After the Rockies secured a victory against the Arizona Diamondbacks, Herget sported a shirt that read, "My Arm Hurts." He shared a light-hearted moment with reporters, stating, "It’s just a funny little thing I like to do after I pitch."
Despite the increased pressure, Herget reassured fans about his health, saying, "I feel fine." His recent appearances have showcased his impressive skills, as he boasts a 2.73 ERA this season across 44 games.
Relief pitchers often face the challenge of back-to-back games, but after four outings in seven days, Herget will likely appreciate a little downtime. Last season, he had eight relief appearances with the Atlanta Braves, and he previously spent three years with the Los Angeles Angels.
