Connor Zilisch’s Watkins Glen Victory Celebration Takes a Scary Turn
In a shocking turn of events during his victory celebration at Watkins Glen, 19-year-old NASCAR driver Connor Zilisch experienced a serious fall from the roof of his car, resulting in a broken collarbone. Thankfully, CT scans for my head are clear; I just have a broken collarbone. I’m grateful for all the medics for their quick attention and relieved it wasn’t any worse.”
This unfortunate incident has affected Zilisch’s racing schedule. Trackhouse Racing, which had planned to enter him in the NASCAR Cup Series event at Watkins Glen in the No. 87 Red Bull Chevrolet, confirmed the withdrawal of the car, wishing Connor a speedy recovery in their statement.
