Matthijs de Ligt Expresses Optimism About New United Players
Matthijs de Ligt has shared his positive thoughts on the new players who have joined Manchester United since the conclusion of last season. In a recent interview with MUTV, he expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "I think they have made a really good impression."
He mentioned Bryan Mbeumo, who has just joined the team a few days ago. Although it’s early to make a full assessment, de Ligt noted, "He has already scored some goals during training, which is a promising sign."
Regarding Matheus Cunha, who has been with the squad for two weeks, de Ligt said, "He is training really well. It’s a new club and environment for him, but he’s already engaging with his teammates, sharing jokes and building rapport, which shows he’s adapting nicely."
De Ligt also spoke about Diego Leon, a younger talent with significant promise. "Diego is strong and physical," he said. "He comes from a different system, so he has some tactical adjustments to make. However, he possesses the physical and tactical skills needed to develop into an excellent player."
Overall, de Ligt believes this transfer window has been very successful and is hopeful that these new additions will contribute significantly to the team’s success moving forward.
