Exciting news for members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences! The Oscars submission portal is now live, allowing film companies to upload their streaming assets directly to the Academy Screening Room. To take advantage of this exclusive members-only streaming service, film companies must first navigate a few requirements, including a financial commitment. There are two key submission deadlines for general entry and feature films, determined by their release dates:

For films released between January 1 and June 30: The Academy requires the Oscars Submission Form (OSF), signed by all credited producers, along with a complete copy of the screen credits to be submitted by Wednesday, September 10, at 5 p.m. PT.
- For films released between July 1 and December 31: The deadline is Thursday, November 13, at 5 p.m. PT for the same submission requirements.
Starting this year, it’s essential that all credited individuals with a “producer” or “produced by” credit sign the General Entry form. This ensures that everyone involved is fully informed about eligibility criteria and deadlines for potential award nominations. This change comes after an Oscar nominations announcement earlier this year revealed complications with the adjudication process for several nominees in the best picture and best documentary feature categories.
