Dawson’s Creek Cast Reunites for a Special Live Reading Event in NYC
For the first time since its original series finale in 2003, the beloved cast of "Dawson’s Creek" is reuniting for a special event! On Monday, September 22, fans can experience a live reading of the iconic show’s 1998 pilot episode at the prestigious Richard Rodgers Theater in New York City.
The star-studded lineup includes James Van Der Beek, Michelle Williams, Katie Holmes, Joshua Jackson, Mary Beth Peil, John Wesley Shipp, Mary-Margaret Humes, Nina Repeta, Kerr Smith, Meredith Monroe, and Busy Philipps. Notably, Philipps, Smith, and Monroe—who joined the series after its first season—will portray various roles from the pilot.
This heartwarming event aims to support F Cancer, a nonprofit organization dedicated to cancer awareness and education. It holds special significance for Van Der Beek, who publicly revealed his diagnosis of stage 3 colorectal cancer in November 2023.
Tickets for this one-of-a-kind evening go on sale through Broadway Direct on Friday, August 22, at 10 AM PT. The event will be directed by Jason Moore, who previously directed three episodes of the series. Production is led by a talented team, including Carl Ogawa, Michelle Williams, Thomas Kail, Maggie Brohn, series creator Kevin Williamson, and Greg Berlanti.
